JUDGMENT Hon'ble Devi Prasad Singh,J., Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, for the opposite party No.4 as well as learned Standing Counsel. With the consent of parties' counsel, the writ petition is being finally disposed of at admission stage. 2. Instant writ petition has been preferred for issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to promote the petitioner on the next higher post on the ground that junior to the petitioner has already been promoted without considering the petitioner's case. 3. Representation submitted by the petitioner is pending. 4. Accordingly, without entering into the merit of the controversy, the writ petition is finally disposed of directing the competent authority to look into the matter and take a decision on the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, expeditiously, say within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the present order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. It shall be open for the petitioner to submit a fresh representation. 5. Subject to above, the writ petition is finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
