JUDGMENT Hon'ble Dilip Gupta,J. The grievance of the petitioner is that there has been a failure on the part of the Election Commission to enforce the Model Code of Conduct in district Ghazipur. 2. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on the records the instructions received by him on 2 April 2014 from the Additional Collector (Revenue & Finance) stating that in pursuance of the Model Code of Conduct, which is being enforced, several violating banners, posters and wall writings have been removed and FIR's have been lodged. 3. That apart, the election process has commenced. Under Article 324 of the Constitution the superintendence, direction and control over the conduct of the election vests with the Election Commission. Hence, no further directions of the Court are necessary. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
