Judgment : 1. The petitioners have filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to initiate and conduct the Arbitration proceedings under Section -3(G) 5 & 6 of the National Highways Act based on the petitioner's representations dated 01.03.2013 and 07.03.2013 within a prescribed time. 2. Even though the petitioners had submitted their representations to the respondent as early as on 01.03.2013 and 07.03.2013, till date the respondents have not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioners to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 01.03.2013 and 07.03.2013, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
