Judgment 1. This petition is filed to quash First Information Report in Crime No.263/2013 of Banjara Hills Police Station, Hyderabad for alleged offence under Sections 406 & 420 IPC. 2. Heard both sides. 3. This Court on 23-6-2014 after appearance of the Investigating Officer adjourned the case on the representation of Investigating Officer that investigation is nearing completion and in one case already investigation is completed and they are going to file final report. At that time, one of the contention of the prosecution is that accused was absconding and he was not co-operating with the investigation but now as the accused was arrested and released on bail, there cannot be any hurdle for the prosecution to complete investigation. 4. Both sides submitted arguments touching merits and demerits of the case. Since the case is still under investigation, I feel it is not necessary to go into those aspects. Now the only apprehension of the learned Senior Advocate for petitioner is that the Investigating Officer, without verifying the records of the Registrar of Companies, may carry away with the complaint allegations. He submitted that there are records to show that the allegations levelled against the petitioners are incorrect. 5. Considering the same, I feel that the Investigating Officer shall verify the records of the Registrar of Companies with reference to the allegations made in the complaint particularly with regard to allotment of shares and promise of giving directorship and to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. 6. With this observation, Criminal Petition is disposed of giving liberty to petitioner to urge these grounds at appropriate time in appropriate proceedings. 7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
