JUDGMENT 1.By invoking the inherent powers of this Court, petitioner has preferred this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short the Code) seeking the following relief: “By allowing this petition, respondent be directed to execute the arrest of accused of Crime No. 33/2014 registered at police station Gaswani District Sheopur as early as possible” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Crime No. 33/2014 has been registered on the basis of complaint made by the petitioner but till today no action has been taken by the police. 3. Having regard to the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the parties, record has been perused. In view of situation of facts that the offence has already been registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of IPC and under Section 3(2)(v) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Superintendent of Police, Sheopur is directed to issue appropriate direction to the investigating officer to make every endeavours to investigate the matter in accordance with, as early as possible. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
