JUDGMENT 1. In this writ petition, the petitioners seek for a mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of their representations dated 18.12.2013 and 04.03.2014. 2. Mr.G.Muthukkannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 4. Through the said representations dated 18.12.2013 and 04.03.2014, the petitioners seek for re-fixation of their scale of pay from the date of regularization of their service in terms of G.O.Ms.No.840 dated 31.07.1990. The petitioners also draw support of a judgment made in W.A (MD)No.1814 of 2011 dated 17.11.2011, which was also confirmed by the Honourable Supreme Court. 5. Since, the petitioners have already gone before the first respondent by way of their representations seeking for the above said relief, it is for the first respondent to consider their representations and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter and the contention raised in the writ petition, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 18.12.2013 and 04.03.2014 and pass orders on the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
