Judgment 1. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to direct the first respondent to admit the petitioner's son M. Akhil Haq in LKG at the first respondent's School. 2. Notice of motion was ordered by this Court on 30.04.2014. 3. Today, when the matter is listed, the first respondent's School is represented by Mr. Issac Mohanlal. On instructions, the learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent's School is willing to admit the petitioner's son in LKG class, provided the petitioner withdraws the allegations made against the first respondent's School, in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. 4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has readily agreed to withdraw the allegations made in the affidavit, provided the first respondent's School admits the petitioner's son in the LKG class. 5. Recording the submissions made by both Counsels, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to admit the petitioner's son, by name M. Akhil Haq in LKG class within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner's Counsel, the averments contained in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, more particularly, the allegations made against the first respondent's School are treated to be withdrawn. This order is passed by taking note of the above stated facts and circumstances and therefore this cannot be treated as precedent in any other matter. No costs.
