Judgment : 1. Challenging the quantum of compensation of Rs.1,83,000/- with interest @9% per annum awarded to the respondent/injured, the present appeal has been filed with the delay of 53 days. 2. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr. Sathish Babu, representing the learned counsel on record submitted that the matter has been settled as full and quit for compensation of Rs.1,40,000/- without interest. The said amount has also been deposited. Submission of the learned counsel is placed on record. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the Miscellaneous Petition and the appeal. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
