JUDGMENT 1. - This second appeal under Section 100 CPC has been filed seeking to question the judgment and decree dated 22.05.2014 passed by the Additional District Judge No.1, Sriganganagar, whereby, the appeal filed by the appellants against judgment and decree dated 11.07.2013 passed by the Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) No.1, Sriganganagar has been rejected. The suit was filed by the plaintiff seeking fixation of standard rent. 2. The trial court by the impugned judgment and decree dated 11.07.2013 fixed standard rent @ Rs. 2,812/- per month and the appellate court upheld the same. Section 22(2) of the Rajasthan Premises (Control of Rent and Eviction) Act, 1950 (for short 'the Act') provides that no second appeal shall lie from any decree or order passed under the Act. 3. In view thereof, the present second appeal is not maintainable and the same is, therefore, dismissed. 4. However, the office is directed to return back the certified copies of both the judgments as filed by the appellants, after retaining photocopy of the judgments, to the learned counsel for the appellants.Appeal Dismissed. *******
