Judgment V. Dhanapalan, J. 1. The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition for a direction to the 4th respondent, Assistant Commissioner, Royapuram to initiate necessary steps in accordance with law to include both his daughters names viz. (1) K. Mubeena, aged about 21 years (2) K. Mubasheera, aged about 20 years in the separate Family Card Vide No. 01/G/1124409. 2. When this matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, by producing a copy of the proceedings passed by the Assistant Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Royapuram Zone, the 4th respondent herein, vide R.C. No. A2/215/14, dated 20.06.2014, would submit that the names of the petitioner's daughters are included in the petitioner's Family Card and it has been handed over to the petitioner on 19.06.2014. 3. For better understanding, the proceedings of the 4th respondent is extracted hereunder:- "I invite kind attention to the ref cited (1) Addl. Govt. Pleader High Court, Chennai – Letter dated 16.06.2014 (2) The Hon'ble High Court W.P. No. 38450 of 2014 order dated 13.06.2014, the W.P. No. 38450 of 2014 of Hon'ble High Court, Madras in the order dated 13.06.2014. The writ petitioner daughters' names has been included viz. K. Mubeena, aged 20 years and K. Mubasheera, aged about 18 years in his family card bearing No. 01G1124409 on 18.06.2014 and his family card handed over to the writ petitioner on 19.06.2014. Hence, I kindly request you to apprise the matter and report to the Hon'ble High Court, Madras. The name inclusion on his family card xerox is enclosed herewith.'' 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has endorsed the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and would submit that the Writ Petition may be closed. 5. Recording the proceedings of the 4th respondent and taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
