Judgment : 1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 09.06.2014 and 16.06.2014 and to rectify or replace the meter box in connection with S.C.No.061-020-79 situated at Old No.18 Flat-C, First Street, Bharathi Road, Perambur, Chennai – 600 011. 2. Even though the petitioner has submitted his representations to the respondent dated 09.06.2014 and 16.06.2014, the respondent has not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioner to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.06.2014 and 16.06.2014, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks. 4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
