ORDER Goutam Bhaduri, J. 1. Heard on application under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for grant of bail. This is a case of bail jump. The applicant was appearing in a Special Criminal Case No. 21/2011 before the court below wherein he jumped the bail in 2012 and the arrest warrant was issued and subsequently the matter was fixed for 28/03/2014. On 24/03/2014 the applicant appeared before court below and prayed for cancellation of the same, however the same was dismissed and the applicant was sent to jail. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant himself has appeared before the court below and during the proceeding which was pending applicant has also deposited the entire amount which was due and further has also entered into compromise and relied on the receipts and submits that' even in the compromise, amount has also been deposited, therefore he may be enlarged on bail. 3. Learned State counsel as also learned counsel for non-applicant No. 1 opposes the same. 4. Having regard to the fact that applicant has already surrendered and appeared before court below on 24/03/2014 and he has been sent to jail, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 5. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. 6. He is directed to appear before the trial court on each and every date given by the said Court. Certified copy as per rules. Application allowed.
