Judgment : 1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for the issuance of a Mandmus, directing the respondents to sub divide the land situated at Plot No.13-B, comprised in Punja Survey No.23/11 and New Survey No.73/17, in village No.88, Vepampattu Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and Thiruvallur District to an extent of 645 sq.ft., belonging to the petitioner as per the Sale Deed the document No.4142/2006 dated 3.5.2006 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office at Thiruvallur in pursuance of the representation dated 13.11.2013. 2. Heard Mr.G.K.R.Pandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Laxmi Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents. 3. Taking note of the limited prayer, without rendering any finding on the merits of the matter, this Court is of the view that the authority concerned viz., the Tahsildar, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District (third respondent herein), will have to consider the case of the petitioner for issuing patta in terms of Patta Pass Book Act. Any person who is likely to be affected should also be heard before patta is issued. The authority concerned will have to take into account the sale deed produced by the petitioner for issuing a patta and if required he can get the authentic verification from the Sub Registrar Office for issuance of patta. 4. The authority concerned viz., the Tahsildar, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, the third respondent herein, is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The writ petition is disposed of on the above terms No costs.
