Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties concerned. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner Trust in M.P.Nos.3 and 4 of 2014 in O.S.A.No.288 of 2011, had placed before this court the minutes of the special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the petitioner Trust, held on 19.6.2014, before this court. The minutes of the special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the petitioner Trust, dated 19.6.2014, reads as follows: 1) Authorising a Trustee to sign cheques with Secretary Resolved to authorize Dr. A. Purushothaman, Trustee to sign the cheques along with the Secretary of the Trust in the absence of Chairperson. 2) For making faculty appointments in the institutions (i) Resolved to request the Hon'ble High Court to permit the Trust to appoint the teachers who have already been selected for Sriram Vidhya Mandir School (CBSE) by advertising in Newspapers and conducting interview by duly constituted selection committee. (ii) Resolved to request the Hon'ble High Court to permit the Trust to appoint faculty members in Sriram Engineering College in the vacancies caused due to resignation in all departments of the college and for the new courses that are proposed to be started this academic year by advertising in Newspapers, constituting selection committee, conducting interview and fixing salary adopting the existing salary structure. (iii) It is also resolved further that certain vacancies in various institutions of the Trust and Trust Office, the Trust has already conducted interview and completed selection process. But the appointment orders had not yet been issued consequent on the orders of the Hon'ble High Court dated 17.02.2014. Now the Board has resolved to request the Hon'ble High Court for necessary orders for issuing the appointment orders. (iv) Resolved to request the Hon'ble High Court to permit the Trust to appoint teachers for the newly started courses namely B.Sc. (Physics), B.Sc (Chemistry) and B.Sc (Computer Science) (additional section) in Sriram College of Arts and Science and also to fill up the vacancies consequent on the resignation of Lecturers/Teachers in Sriram Polytechnic College and Sriram Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School by selecting suitable candidates by adopting the prescribed procedure. (Physics), B.Sc (Chemistry) and B.Sc (Computer Science) (additional section) in Sriram College of Arts and Science and also to fill up the vacancies consequent on the resignation of Lecturers/Teachers in Sriram Polytechnic College and Sriram Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School by selecting suitable candidates by adopting the prescribed procedure. 3) For filling up of vacant posts in Trust Office: Resolved to request the Hon'ble High Court to permit the Trust to appoint one post of Accounts Officer (already selected) in Trust Office in the place of already existed Manager (Finance) and to fill up the vacant post of Assistant (HR). Also resolved to select and appoint two drivers for the newly purchased two buses for CBSE School and one driver for ambulance in the campus.” 3. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned had submitted that there are no objections for this court passing an order permitting the implementation of Items 1, 2 and 3 of the resolutions of the special meeting held on 19.6.2014. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, this court finds it appropriate to permit the implementation of resolutions 1 to 3 passed in the special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the petitioner Trust held on 19.6.2014. 5. The minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the petitioner Trust, dated 28.6.2014, reads as follows: After discussions, it was resolved to submit to the Hon'ble High Court the details such as name of the contractors of completed/ongoing civil works to whom payment has to be made, date of approval of the contract by the Trust Board, amounts of payment to be made, whether approved by the Auditor, etc as indicated below for getting permission to make payments. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned had submitted that there is no objection for this court passing an order permitting the implementation of the resolution, dated 28.6.2014, in so far as it relates to the bills pending for the completed civil works and with regard to the claims to be settled for the on going civil works. 4. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, this court finds it appropriate to permit the implementation of the resolution passed in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the petitioner Trust, held on 28.6.2014, in so far as it relates tgo the bills pending for the completed civil works and with regard to the claims to be settled for the on-going civil works. 5. The Registry is directed to list the matter on 14.7.2014.
