JUDGMENT Hon'ble Dilip Gupta, J. The petitioner has sought the intervention of the District Magistrate, Jaunpur to prevent the sixth respondent from causing damage to a village Well by covering it for unauthorised use as a septic tank for his toilet. 2. Having regard to this grievance, we permit the petitioner to move the District Magistrate together with a certified copy of this order and a representation setting out his grievance. The District Magistrate may, thereafter, cause a due enquiry to be made and issue appropriate directions if the grievance is found to be genuine. This exercise may preferably be concluded within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of the representation along with a certified copy of this order. 3. We clarify that we have not expressed any opinion on merits of the allegation and the District Magistrate shall afford a reasonable opportunity of being heard to all the affected parties. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
