Judgment 1. The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the "Adal Padal Programme" on 10.07.2014, as part of the Sri Pullavanayakiamman Thirukovil situated at Paganeri Village, Sivagangai District. 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 4. In the affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner, who is residing at Paganeri village, Sivagangai District and others have decided to conduct the "Adal Padal Programme" on 10.07.2014, as part of the Sri Pullavanayakiamman Thirukovil situated at Paganeri Village, Sivagangai District and hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent, dated 05.07.2014, to grant permission to conduct the 'Aadal Paadal' programme. But, no action has been taken so far. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed. 5. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on an earlier occasion, this Court by accepting the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, imposed 23 conditions to conduct 'Aadal Paadal' programme in W.P.(MD).No.3528 of 2014, and if the same conditions are imposed the respondents will consider the application of the petitioner. The condition imposed by this Court on an earlier writ petition is as follows: “TAMIL” 6. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner would abide by all the above said 23 conditions, which are enumerated by the respondent Police. 7. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to give necessary permission by imposing the above said conditions for conducting the festival. Further, this Court directs the respondent police to pass necessary orders on receipt of the representation incorporating the conditions as enumerated above. 8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
