Judgment : S. Manikumar, J. 1. A former retired Junior Commission Officer in Indian Army, has sought for a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of his son E.Santheepkumar, aged about 29 years, before this Court. 2. According to him, respondents 3 and 4 have enticed the alleged detenu and by threat, confined him, for the purpose of extracting money. Though a complaint was lodged with the Inspector of Police, Airport, Chennai, no action has been taken. It is his further contention that the respondents 3 and 4 were already married. Again complaints dated 25.04.2014 and 30.04.2014 were given to the Inspector of Police, Tenkasi Police Station, Tirunelveli District, but no case has been registered. In the above said circumstances, he has sought for writ of habeas corpus. 3. Coming to know the filing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the alleged detenu E.Santheepkumar has appeared before us. He has stated that respondents 3 and 4, have not illegally detained and harassed him. It is his further submission that he married, respondent No.4. Submission of the alleged detenu is placed on record. 4. Inasmuch as illegal detention and harassment is emphatically denied, question of issuing Habeas Corpus does not arise. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
