JUDGMENT 1. - Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner Sugreev Kumar who is said to be a juvenile was arrested in FIR No. 240/2014 dated 23.07.2014 registered at Police Station Keshri Singhpur, District Sriganganagar. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application under Section 12 of the Juvenile Justice Act was filed on behalf of the petitioner but the same was rejected vide order dated 20.08.2014. Against that order, an appeal was filed under Section 52 of the Juvenile Justice Act that too has been dismissed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sriganganagar but in fact for the welfare of the petitioner, he may be released on bail because the petitioner is a juvenile and was arrested in connection with offences under Sections 307,341,324,34 IPC. 4. The learned Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner has committed serious offence, therefore, he is not entitled for any relief in this case. 5. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the petitioner is behind the bars from more than two years and is a juvenile, I deem it appropriate to allow this revision petition. Consequently, it is ordered that the juvenile Sugreev Kumar @ Shaka S/o Shri Budhram may be released upon furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- by his natural guardian with one surety in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- to the satisfaction of Juvenile Justice Board, Sriganganagar.
