Judgment : 1. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner is cultivating the land admeasuring an extent of 0.60.0 areas in S.No.101/1, Nelly Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, for the past 15 years and he continues to be in possession and enjoyment of the land and the said land has been classified as Government Poromboke Land. 3. It is the further submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that since the petitioner is in possession of the land in question for more than 15 years, he is entitled to get a patta and in this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 15.06.2014 to respondents herein. Since he has not been favoured with any response, has filed the present writ petition. 4. Mr.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the official respondents. 5. A perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner, which is available at page No.7 of the typed set of papers would disclose that it is bereft of any particulars. However, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to submit one more representation with all particulars to the 3rd respondent and he may be directed to pass appropriate orders. 6. This Court, taking into consideration of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit a detailed representation for grant of patta to the 3rd respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 3rd respondent on receipt of the said representation from the petitioner for grant of patta is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the person concerned. 7. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner in this writ petition for grant of patta.
