Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to grant permission and necessary protection to Worship the deities on 01.07.2014 or any other dated 08.08.2014 fixed by this Court in the eve of Arulmighu Pillaiyar Kovil, Karuppasamy Ayyannar, Pampalamman Temple at S. Meenatchipuram Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District. 2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3. The case of the petitioner is that the festival is to be held on 01.07.2014, the petitioner sought for permission from the respondents 1 to 3. However, the permission was not granted. Therefore, they have decided to postpone the worship of the Deities to be held at the later point of time. 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the respondents police directed the parties to resolve the issue before the competent forum and the complaint has been closed accordingly. 5. It appears that there is an internal problem in the village with regard to the "First Respect" and since the petitioner themselves postponed the worship of the deities, this writ petition is disposed of by granting permission to the petitioner to approach the Tahsildar of the concerned area and submit a representation. On such representation being submitted by the petitioner, the Tahsildar, shall issue notice to all the parties and try to settle the dispute amicably by conducting a Peace Committee Meeting. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the Peace Committee Meeting since the petitioner wishes to celebrate a function on 08.08.2014. Therefore, the Tahsildar, is directed to convene the Meeting on or before 05.08.2014 and the petitioner is also directed to approach the Tahsildar, by way of a representation along with a copy of this order. No costs.
