Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court, may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.06.2014, with regard to the encroachments, made in Thannoothukulam, in S.No.8/2A of Sathamangalam Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and to pass appropriate orders thereon. 2. Heard Mr. A.K. Baskara Pandian, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.06.2014, and to pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time limit to be specified by this Court. 4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and in view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.06.2014, and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving appropriate notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 16.06.2014, to the second respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
