Judgment 1. The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the traditional dance programme on 17.07.2014 from 07.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in pursuant to the Aani Festival at "Sri Mahakaliamman" Kovil situated at North Puthukudi, Kottaipattinam, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2014. 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4. In the affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner, is a member of the Vizha Committee and in the capacity of the member and others have decided to conduct the traditional dance programme on 17.07.2014 from 07.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in pursuant to the Aani Festival at "Sri Mahakaliamman" Kovil situated at North Puthukudi, Kottaipattinam, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, and hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent, dated 09.07.2014. But, no action has been taken so far. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed. 5. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on an earlier occasion, this Court by accepting the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, imposed 23 conditions to conduct 'Aadal Paadal' programme in W.P.(MD).No.3528 of 2014, and if the same conditions are imposed the respondents will consider the application of the petitioner. The condition imposed by this Court on an earlier writ petition is as follows: “TAMIL” 6. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner would abide by all the above said 23 conditions, which are enumerated by the respondent Police. 7. In view of the above, the second respondent Police is directed to give necessary permission by imposing the above said conditions for conducting the festival. Further, this Court directs the respondents police to pass necessary orders on receipt of the representation incorporating the conditions as enumerated above. 8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
