Judgment : 1. The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal Program in "Kodaivizha Alaippithal" scheduled to be held on 17.07.2014 at Arulmigu Sri Enawamy Thirukovil at Pattarpuram, Iraipuvari Post, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4. In the affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner, is a member of the Vizha Committee and in the capacity of the member and others have decided to conduct the Adal Padal Program in "Kodaivizha Alaippithal" scheduled to be held on 17.07.2014 at Arulmigu Sri Enawamy Thirukovil at Pattarpuram, Iraipuvari Post, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District and hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent, dated 08.07.2014. But, no action has been taken so far. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed. 5. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on an earlier occasion, this Court by accepting the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, imposed 23 conditions to conduct 'Aadal Paadal' programme in W.P.(MD).No.3528 of 2014, and if the same conditions are imposed the respondents will consider the application of the petitioner. The condition imposed by this Court on an earlier writ petition is as follows: (“Language”) 6. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner would abide by all the above said 23 conditions, which are enumerated by the respondent Police. 7. In view of the above, the second respondent Police is directed to give necessary permission by imposing the above said conditions for conducting the festival. Further, this Court directs the respondents police to pass necessary orders on receipt of the representation incorporating the conditions as enumerated above. 8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
