Judgment S. Rajeswaran, J. 1. This is a petition filed by the petitioner directing the respondents to produce his wife by name Gayathri, aged about 20 years, who is said to have been married to him on 16.4.2014. The petitioner admits that the marriage of the detenue/wife with him was before the Sub Registrar Office, Gummidipoondi and it was registered. However, she was missing from 17.4.2014 and the steps taken by the petitioner to trace his wife went in vain. Therefore, he has come up with the above petition. 2. The Investigation Officer is present before this Court. The respondent-Police produced the detenue before this Court. The detenue is represented by a counsel also, who has submitted that the detenue is not interested in going along with the petitioner. 3. On enquiry, the detenue has categorically stated that she has completed her M.Sc. (IT) and is working at Vivekananda Matriculation School, Meenjur, where the petitioner was also working. Excepting stating that the petitioner was her colleague in the school, she denies all other relationships and connections with the petitioner. She also stated before this Court, that her marriage ceremony was forcibly performed by the petitioner, that too without her knowledge and consent. She further states that she is with her parents and would like to live only with her parents. She categorically denies the husband and wife relationship with the petitioner, as claimed by the petitioner. She declined to talk to the petitioner and she said so, in his presence before us. 4. Therefore, in the light of the categorical statement made by the detenue, a major and M.Sc. (IT) professional, this Court is not inclined to consider the petition filed by the petitioner. Hence, no order is necessary in this petition and the same is closed. It is made clear that if there is any disturbance from the petitioner's side, either to the family of the detenue or to the detenue herself, it is open to them to give a complaint to the concerned Police Station and on such complaint being received, the Station House Officer shall take action in accordance with law. 5. In the result, this petition is closed.
