Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks for a direction to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2014 and consequently direct the first respondent to grant police protection for conducting Pooja Service in Arulmigu Sri.Senthatti Ayyanar Thirukovil which was situated at Koviloor Village, Virudhunagar District. 2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3. On perusal of the representation, it appears that two parties have been conducting the festival/Pooja service in turns and the third respondent is a person residing in the same village who is objecting to the petitioner to perform the Pooja service. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. At this stage, no positive direction can be granted. However, there will be a direction to the second respondent to issue notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and conduct an enquiry and try to settle the issue amicably and thereafter pass an order on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
