Mr. Rajive Bhalla, J. (Oral):- Prayer in this application is for grant of emergency parole to Baljinder Singh, who is undergoing life imprisonment, on the ground that his marriage to Simran Kaur daughter of Gurmukh Singh Digpal is fixed for 9.2.2014. 2. A reply filed by Shri Bhupinderjeet Singh Virk, Superintendent, Central Jail, Patiala, reveals that upon verification from both families, the factum of petitioner’s marriage to Simran Kaur daughter of Gurmukh Singh Digpal, has been found to be correct. This apart, the State of Punjab has no objection to the grant of parole to the applicant. 3. In this view of the matter, we direct that the petitioner shall be granted emergency parole from 6.2.2014 to 16.2.2014. The petitioner shall return to the Central Jail, Patiala by 5.00 PM on 16.2.2014. All necessary formalities with regard to the grant of parole be completed, in accordance with law. 4. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
