Judgment : 1. The second respondent/de-facto complainant is the wife of the petitioner's husband. Both of them got married in 2008 and due to difference of opinion they are living separately from 2011 onwards. The second respondent filed a complaint, based on which, a case has been registered and it is pending on the file of the District Mahila Court(Fast Track Court) Sivagangai, for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 324, 307 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act, 2002. The said proceedings are challenged before this Court. 2. Both the petitioner as well as the second respondent/wife are appeared before this Court. When the matter is called today, the second respondent and the petitioner contended that they are living together for the past one year without any problem and therefore, the proceedings have to be quashed. A joint memo duly signed by the petitioner as well as the second respondent and duly countersigned by the respective Counsels, dated 21.07.2014 is also filed. 3. In view of the above development, no fruitful result will be achieved for further proceeding in the matter and the charge sheet in S.C.No.65 of 2013 on the file of the District Mahila Court(Fast Track Court) Sivagangai, is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed..
