Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. Heard Mr.S.Muthukrishnan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent No.1 and Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.02.2014, is directed to be disposed of, by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3 have no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. They had submitted that the petitioner had submitted only a copy of the representation before the first respondent and therefore, the petitioner may be directed to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent. 4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh representation to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
