Judgment 1. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent to give appropriate direction to the second respondent to give necessary protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and for the construction of his building on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2014. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and the learned counsel appearing for the intervenor. 3. The prayer sought for by the petitioner for giving police protection for making construction of his property in the guise of protection to life and limb, cannot be entertained since already civil suits are pending in O.S. Nos. 82 and 84 of 2014 on the file of the District Court, Munsif of Madurai Town. 4. In view of that, the prayer sought for cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
