Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. Heard Mr.S.Alagarsamy, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.M.Govindan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.R.Velmurugan, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.05.2014, is directed to be disposed of, by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 had submitted that the representation, dated 19.05.2014, submitted by the petitioner, to the first respondent, had been forwarded to the second respondent herein. He had further submitted that this Court may be pleased to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 19.05.2014. 4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as also the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.05.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording sufficient opportunity to the parties concerned, including the fifth respondent herein. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 19.05.2014, to the second respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
