Judgment : It is contended that the petitioner's daughter Priya eloped with one married person, namely, Neelamegam @ Anbu. Based on the complaint lodged by the Neelamegam @ Anbu's wife, a case has been registered. In that process, the petitioner is being harassed. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent. 3. It is contended by the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner is not arrayed as an accused and moreover, the petitioner herself is a looser, as her daughter eloped with a married person and she must be undergoing mental agony. Therefore, there should not be any harassment by the respondent police. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the respondent police, not to harass the petitioner and her family members. 4. This Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
