Judgment : 1. The petitioner contends that her daughter namely Kanipriya was brought up by her and her husband kidnapped the said Kanipriya. She is aged about 16 years old and she is studying in the School. However, the husband of the petitioner along with his henchmen kidnapped the petitioner's daughter and kept her in his custody on 27.06.2014. In this regard, the petitioner gave a complaint on 17.07.2014 to the respondents and requested them to register the FIR. But, till date, the respondents failed to register a case. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondents. 3. Since the petitioner contends that her daughter was kidnapped by her husband and his henchmen, it is the bounden duty of the respondents to register the same. Hence, this Court directs the respondents to register the complaint immediately. 4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered. Post for compliance on 27.08.2014.
