Judgment 1. The petitioner is said to be a Driver working under the State Transport Corporation Tamil Nadu Limited, Trichy. The petitioner suffered a spinal cord injury during the year 2009 and undergone surgery. The petitioner, on account of his illness, could not do the work of Driver. The Medical Board issued a certificate to the petitioner on 18.10.2013 certifying that he is unfit for driving vehicles for one year. The petitioner, immediately thereafter, submitted a representation to the first respondent to give him alternative employment. Since the said representation was not taken up for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 02.07.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
