JUDGMENT (A.M.Sapre, C.J.) Heard Dr. B. Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicants/appellants and Mr. D. Saikia, learned Additional Advocate General, Assam. This application is made in W.A. Serial No.207609 WA seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal arising out of an order dated 24.5.2013 passed in a bunch of writ petitions being Writ Petition (C) No.5582 of 2011 and several other connected petitions. Without going into any other question which are involved in this application and also in the appeal, we permit the appellants (writ petitioners) to withdraw this appeal with a liberty to approach the concerned State Government for making a representation as permitted by the Supreme Court by order dated 13.9.2013 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No.19617/2013 (CMJ Foundation Vs. State of Meghalaya) for their grievances. It is with this liberty this appeal fails and the same is dismissed as withdrawn. No cost.
