Judgment 1. The writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to the dance programme in the event of festival of Uppugachipatti Sree Selva Vinayagar and Mariamman Kovil at 7/18 Uppugachipatti Kavalkaranpatti Post Kulithalai Taluk Karur District on 14.8.2014. 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4. In the affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner approached the respondent seeking permission to conduct the “Aadal Paadal” programme, but the respondents have not yet granted permission. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 5. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on an earlier occasion, this Court, by accepting the submission of the learned Government Advocate, imposed 23 conditions to conduct Adal Padal programme in W.P. (MD).No.3528 of 2014, and if the same conditions are imposed the respondents will consider the request of the petitioner. The conditions imposed by this Court on an earlier writ petition are as follows: “TAMIL” 6. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he would abide by all the above said 23 conditions, which are enumerated by the respondent Police. 7. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to give necessary permission by imposing the above said conditions for conducting the festival. Further, this Court directs the respondent police to pass necessary orders on receipt of the representation, incorporating the conditions as enumerated above. 8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
