Judgment : 1. The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and her family members for their life and limb and for the marriage of the Petitioner's daughter to be conducted on 20.08.2014 in Nagercoil Kanyakumari by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2014. 2. Without going into the merits of the contentions, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.08.2014 and after conducing enquiry in the matter, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and on such enquiry, if the first respondent is satisfied that there is a serious perception as alleged by the petitioner then the first respondent shall pass necessary orders within a week since the marriage of the petitioner is said to be fixed on 20.08.2014. 3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
