Judgment : 1. The petitioner submitted an application for removing and transporting gravel from the land in Survey No.249/4B2 of Mela Tiruchendur Village. The application was rejected by the second respondent by order, dated 29.12.2013. The said order was challenged before the first respondent. The appeal was taken on file in File No.415/Mm2/2014. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner, on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the appeal memorandum along with a copy of this order so as to enable the first respondent to take up the matter at an early date. 4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
