Judgment 1. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to consider the shifting of the TASMAC Shop No. 5220 from Survey No.158, Kamarajar Salai, Madurai to another place viz. Survey Nos. 103 and 104, Town Survey Ward No.1, Block II, Anuppanadi, Theppakulam, Madurai District or any other place. 2. The petitioner is the licence holder for selling eatable and collecting empty bottles from the bar annexed with TASMAC shop No.5220 at survey No.158, Kamarajar Salai, Madurai. 3. Now, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the said licence period has already expired. 4. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
