Judgment 1. Heard both sides. 2. From the facts made available herein, it is now seen that the case already registered under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. is after enquiry, altered into one under Sections 498A and 306 IPC and is pending investigation before the 3rd respondent/Inspector of Police. Considering the grounds raised herein, this Court deems it fit to direct the 2nd respondent/Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram District, to peruse the case diary relating to Crime No.92 of 2014 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent and issue due instructions and monitor and guide the 3rd respondent/Inspector of Police, Madurantakam Police Station, Kancheepuram, in the matter of investigation. The 3rd respondent/Inspector of Police is also directed to complete the investigation and file final report in the manner known to law as expeditiously as possible. 3. With the above directions, the petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
