Judgment : 1. Even though the petitioner has given a complaint on 21.01.2014 and after registration of F.I.R, no proper investigation has been made and final report is yet to be filed. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner is not cooperating with the respondent police. 3. However, it is seen from the records that after registration of First Information, nothing will be done by the respondent police except recording the statement. When serious allegations are made and got the F.I.R, it is the bounden duty of the respondents to investigate the same. 4. In view of that, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and the respondents shall conduct an enquiry and get a statement from the petitioner and thereafter enquire the accused and proceed in accordance with law including the filing of final report. 5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered. Post on 10.09.2014 for compliance.
