Judgment : R. Mahadevan, J. 1. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the appellant, as well as the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. The Writ Appeal has been filed against the order of the learned Single Judge, dated 10.01.2014, made in W.P.(MD).No.9097 of 2012. 3. The prayer in the Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.9097 of 2012 was to direct the first respondent/the appellant herein, to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Nigh Watchman from the date of his appointment, vis., 07.02.2006 and pay all monetary and service benefits. Referring Government Order in G.O.(Ms)No.212, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 29.11.2001 as well as G.O. (Ms) No.49, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 14.05.2002, the learned Single Judge, by order dated 10.01.2014, had held that the petitioner is entitled for approval of his appointment on and from 07.02.2006 onwards. The said position is not disputed by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the appellant as well as the second respondent. 4. In such circumstances, we find no merits in the Writ Appeal for interference and accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
