JUDGMENT Hon'ble Arvind Kumar Tripathi, J. Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA, Mr. Hari Keshav Singh, learned counsel for the complainant and perused the record. 2. This application under Section 482 , Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of the entire proceedings of complaint case No.1151 of 2011 under Sections 406, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC, Police Station Jhunsi, District Allahabad. 3. Learned counsel for the parties informed that matter has already been settled amicably in between the parties and compromise has also been accepted in the counter affidavit filed by complainant. 4. Considered the submission of learned counsel for the parties. Since the matter has already been settled in between the parties then no fruitful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings and the proceeding has to be dropped/rejected. Hence proceedings of criminal case No.1151 of 2011 under Sections 406, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC, Police Station Jhunsi, District Allahabad is hereby quashed in the light of judgment of the Apex Court in case of Madan Mohan Abbot Vs. State of Punjab 2008(4) SCC 582 and Ghyan Singh Vs. State of Punjab 2012(10) SCC 303 . 5. Accordingly, present application, under section 482 Cr.P.C., is allowed. Interim order, if any, stands discharged.
