ORDER 1. Petitioner has invoked Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 in the matter of appointment of an Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties having arisen under the agreement for temporary staffing services, Annexure-A, dated 15.5.2012 in terms of clause 10(ii) providing for arbitration followed by the notice dated 3122013, Annexure-E, proposing the name of Sri. Basavaraj S Tadahal, retired District Judge, Bangalore as Arbitrator in compliance with sub-section 5 of Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 2. Petition is not opposed by filing statement of objections since the respondent served with notice has remained absent and is unrepresented. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records. 4. Petition is allowed. Sri. Basavaraj S Tadahal, Retired District Judge, Bangalore is appointed as Arbitrator to enter upon reference over the disputes between the parties and conduct the arbitration proceedings in the Arbitration Centre – Karnataka [Domestic and International] at Bangalore, in accordance with the Arbitration Centre – Karnataka [Domestic and International], Rules, 2012.
