Judgment S. Rajeswaran, J. 1. This petition has been filed by the son of the convict Basavaraj. Since his father is suffering from chronic diabetic and he is old, this petition has been filed by the son to grant him parole for 3 months for taking medical treatment. 2. In the last hearing, i.e. on 24.7.2014, on hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and on the face of the Medical Report filed, this Court directed the second respondent to transfer the accused to AISVARYAM HOSPITAL, Bangalore Bye Pass Road, Suramangalam, Salem for immediate treatment at his cost. 3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that accordingly the accused was taken to Aisvaryam Hospital to the address mentioned above and was given treatment and after completion of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital and put back in the prison. 4. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that he has no instructions in the matter. 5. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after completion of treatment to the petitioner's father, he was discharged from the hospital and put back in the prison. Hence, nothing further remains to be considered in this petition. 6. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
