JUDGMENT Pankaj Mithal,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Petitioner has filed this petition for a direction upon Prescribed Authority, Uttar Pradesh Urban Building (Regulation of Letting Rent & Eviction) Act, 1972, Firozabad to decide P.A. Case No. 08 of 2012, (Yashpal Singh and another Vs. Neeraj Pal Singh) within a stipulated period of time. 3. Rule 15 of the Rules framed under the Act mandates that release application under Section 21(1)(b) of the Act shall be decided by the prescribed authority as far as practicable within a period of two months which equally applies to appeals arising therefrom. 4. In view of the above mandate of law there is no necessity to issue any further direction for time bound disposal of the case/appeal. 5. Moreover, in view of the decision in the case of Km. Shobha Bose Vs. Judge Small Causes Court 2010 (1) ADJ 531 (DB), it is not proper to issue any positive direction for time bound disposal of any appeal. 6. Accordingly, petition is disposed of with direction to the court concerned to consider and decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible by fixing short dates in quick succession and avoiding all unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment in doing so. 7. The writ petition is disposed of.
