Judgment 1. The petitioner has given a complaint to the respondents police on 12.11.2013, stating that based on the fabricated document, one Nicholas Ponnudurai had filed a case against the petitioner in O.S.No.415 of 20025 in respect of the land and the petitioner's son was attacked. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. The dispute with regard to the land is already before the civil Court in O.S.No.415 of 2013 and therefore, this Court cannot go into the said issue. As far as the attack on the petitioner and his son is concerned, the respondents police are directed to look into the complaint and conduct an enquiry and if cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent police is directed to register the complaint and thereafter, investigate the matter and proceed in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
