Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 11.07.2014. In the said representation, the petitioner has made certain allegations against the fourth respondent, the President of the Panchayat. Since no orders was passed on the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2. The fourth respondent has filed a counter affidavit stating that he has discharged his duties in accordance with law. In the counter at para 6 it has been admitted that a representation was given by the petitioner on 11.07.2014 and in which a report has been furnished by the Block Development Officer, Kovilpatti in Na.Ka.No.T3/1555/2014, dated 31.07.2014. In fact a copy of the same has also been enclosed in the typed set of papers filed by the respondents. As per the report, there is no allegation made by the petitioner as against the fourth respondent is not made out. In the light of the fact that the Block Development Officer has already submitted a report to the second respondent, it is for the second respondent to take further action in that matter. 3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the contention raised by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the second respondent to take further action pursuant to the report submitted by the Block Development Officer, Kovilpatti, in Na.Ka.No.T3/1555/2014, dated 31.07.2014, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
