Judgment 1. The petitioners are the defendants, whereas the respondent is the plaintiff in O.S.No.249 of 2013 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Palani. The respondent filed a suit against the petitioners praying for a decree of declaration of title that the suit properties are absolutely belong to him and for permanent injunction. The petitioners have filed a written statement on 21.01.2014 and issues were framed on the same date i.e. on 21.01.2014 itself. The respondent along with the suit filed an application in I.A.No.527 of 2013 for temporary injunction. The petitioners filed a counter affidavit and the said application is posted for enquiry on 08.07.2014. The suit was listed on 19.02.2014. From that date onwards, without any reason, the suit is adjourned on various dates. The suit was not taken up for hearing. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the above Civil Revision Petition for speedy disposal of the suit in O.S.No.249 of 2013. 2. In the records, it is seen that from 19.02.2014, the suit was adjourned to 25.06.2014 without listing the suit for trial. Having been taken into consideration of the related facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the trial court. 3. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed, directing the learned District Munsif, Palani to expedite the trial and dispose the suit in O.S.No.249 of 2013, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than the third week of January 2015. No costs.
