Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to reissue the petitioner's passport in file No.TR1071510916912. 2. According to the petitioner, he applied for reissue of passport to the second respondent and also enclosed necessary documents. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no communication has been received nor passport was reissued to the petitioner. 3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application for re-issuance of passport on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
