Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent No.3 to consider his representation for grant of patta. 2. Notice was ordered by this Court by order dated 24.07.2014 and in response to that, the fourth respondent has filed counter affidavit stating that the petitioner claims to have purchased the properties, comprised in S.No.216/1, from Poongodi, daughter of Karuppanna Gounder and Murugesan, son of Arumuga Goundar. The fourth respondent temple has filed a suit in O.S.No.1113 of 1987 against the said Karuppanna Goundar and Arumuga Goundar i.e., the parents of the petitioner's vendors for recovery of possession and the suit was decreed and the same was confirmed in the appeal in A.S.No.99 of 1991. The petitioner's vendors challenged the same by filing second appeal in S.A.No.1773 of 1997 and the same was dismissed by this Court by judgment dated 10.07.2010. 3. In the light of the above, no direction can be issued to consider the petitioner's representation. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
